Datina was born out of the need to create a dedicated data science community on our college campus, complementing the existing software engineering group, Algoritmia. While Algoritmia catered primarily to software engineering students, many students across different majors and disciplines—ranging from mathematics and business to biology and even high school students—expressed a strong interest in data science. Datina was created to fill this gap, providing an inclusive space for anyone passionate about data-driven problem-solving. Since its inception, we have organized workshops on tackling interview questions related to product metrics, SQL, and machine learning. Additionally, we have developed resources and exercises to help members practice and refine their skills, empowering them to succeed in technical interviews and real-world applications.
